Fees and Policies

What are your fees?

My standard fee is $225 USD per session. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration. I keep a limted number of openings in my schedule for individuals who are unable to pay the full rate. Please inquire during the initial consultation.

Your right to receive a Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Do you accept Medicaid?

No. I do not accept and cannot work with individuals who have Medicaid.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently work with any insurance companies. I can accept Health Savings Account cards as a form of payment if you have this option, however. I can also provide you with a “superbill” which you may submit for potential insurance reimbursement. There is no guarantee than you will be reimbursed.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

I have a 48-hour notice requirement for all cancellations. Otherwise, the full fee is still charged for the appointment.
